Just purchased this to replace a busted one on a 2012 Street Glide. Unfortunately, I had blown my amp, and speakers too while driving through a bad rain storm. Either way, after purchasing new speakers and amp, I was able to listen to this. The sound is great! Don’t know where they get the notion of no clock as mine has one. The only thing I would add is the ability to play the music through the USB without having to plug in the aux cord. Nothing major at all. The unit fits perfectly in the bike and looks great.

Just had this radio installed yesterday. The drawbacks I saw on the reviews talked about no clock. However, while thumbing thru the owner’s manual, I saw there should be one. Hold down the bottom corner of Audio/Menu button, scroll down to clock (12/24 Hr), then to set clock. Sets with ur volume thumb switch. To view it, hit the Esc + Info button on the bottom left of radio.

Great stereo, hooked up a set of 5.25 hawg wired 4ohm speakers only two and I get distortion when I try to crank it. But other than that it does sound good on a lower level between 28 and 33. Fm receiver forget about it, it distorts at a even lower volume, got to keep it around 25. My speakers are rated for 70 watts any ideas?

    Wow. Simple Instalment as indicated!!!
Sound is great and I see the time on the read out after the song. Not on my speedometer. I ride an 08 SG and indorse this Stereo to all My friends can’t believe the sound and that it only took me less then an hour to install. Back screws where the hardest to line up but I blame Harley on that. Lol.

Update for review April 22, 2017

Just installed the 2 ohm Hogtune speakers (352F-AA) and that made all the difference. A nice full sound and no distortion at 3/4 of the volume, i do not feel the need for an external amplifier wih this head unit. I could not get the track info to work at first. I tried a different phone and now it is working. The first phone is used was an android 4 device and now i use an android 6 device. I assume the problem lies in the android version since both phones use bleutooth 4. Everything works perfect now. Kyle, thanks for the email support.
    Gonna go and ride now!

I just bought this unit since the factory unit died on me after 14 years (Electraglide classic 2003). I had the hogtunes 5.75 ohm first generation speakers in the bike and that is not a good match. Because of the higher ohms of the speakers you cannot turn up the volume high enough without getting distortions at speeds higher than 50 miles an hour. I just ordered a set of 2 ohm hogtunes frontspeakers and that should do the trick. ( 2 ohm speakers on the aquatic unit gives you full power, 5,75 ohm speakers on the aquatic unit will only leave you with a little under 25 watts)
I will come back and share my experience when the speakers are installed. The unit itself is awesome. No more hickups when you hit a bump in the road, great radio rerception and it works flawless with an old android Phone wich i stripped of all the unneccesary apps and use it for the bike only to stream mp3’s. Installation is a breeze and with the phone being charged while you ride you will not run out of juice. Four stars sofar and if the new speakers do what i expect them to i will upgrade my review to five stars. I am really curieus how the new speakers work with the build in amp.

Ditto on the clock. Who makes an electronic device that doesn’t have a clock? My microwave has a clock, my oven has a clock….my phone has a clock…..my household thermostat has a clock. I like the radio…..installation was a breeze…..but had I known it didn’t have a clock I would have gone another direction.

Installed the AQ-MP-5BT-H in my 2004 Electraglide. Very easy to install, less than 20 minutes start to finish. I added hog tune rear speaker pods and hog tune rear speakers to my bike (didn’t have factory rears when I bought it) which were pretty easy to connect to this unit. Hand controls all work as they should, the Bluetooth connectivity is fantastic. Unit sounds and looks great. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade or replace their factory stereo.

Replacement was a breeze. Watched the “How To” video on YouTube before I started, just so I would know what to expect. Everything went as planned except the rear speaker hook up. The instructions tell you to match the color coded speaker wires and simply tie the new wires in. I think the guy that wired my bike must’ve been new, because the colors just did not match up. After I sat there and scratched my head for a minute I realized… “Pull the rear speakers and see what color they are back there dopey” Once I looked at the color code at the rear, it was a breeze!
